The event determines the outcome based solely on which team scores more runs during the 8th inning of the professional baseball game scheduled between Atlanta and Chicago on September 15, 2026. If Atlanta scores more runs in that inning, the 'Atlanta wins 8th inning' market resolves to Yes. If Chicago scores more runs, the 'Chicago C wins 8th inning' market resolves to Yes. If both teams score the same number of runs, or if neither team scores any runs, the 'Tie 8th inning' market resolves to Yes. Should the game be called before the completion of the 8th inning, all markets resolve to a Fair Price. Only runs scored during the 8th inning are considered; performance in any other inning is irrelevant to the resolution of these markets.
