Predict and Opinion can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Predict and Opinion can vary due to differences in user bases, liquidity, and trading mechanics. Each platform may have distinct order books and volume patterns, leading to temporary mispricings. Additionally, varying levels of public attention or unique market designs on each venue can cause their odds to diverge until they converge closer to the event.
