In the upcoming Egypt Egyptian Premier League game between Asyut Petroleum SC and Montakhab Suez Petrojet, scheduled for August 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Asyut Petroleum SC vs. Montakhab Suez Petrojet match originally scheduled for August 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
The event resolves based on the result of the Petrojet vs Asyut Petroleum professional Egyptian Premier League soccer match scheduled for August 22, 2026, after 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Three distinct markets correspond to the three possible outcomes: Petrojet win, Asyut Petroleum win, or a tie. If the match concludes with a victory for Petrojet, the 'Petrojet' market resolves to Yes. Conversely, an Asyut Petroleum victory resolves the 'Asyut Petroleum' market to Yes. A match that ends level after regulation time resolves the 'Tie' market to Yes. If the game is cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets will resolve to a fair price as determined by the platform rules. The resolution explicitly excludes extra time and penalty shootouts, focusing solely on the result after regular time including stoppage minutes.
Prediction market odds on this market often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they price in probabilistic distributions over many scorelines, while sportsbooks usually offer simple win/draw/loss bets or spread totals. The market’s implied probabilities can appear sharper or more conservative depending on trader sentiment and available information. For example, a narrow favorite in sportsbooks might translate to a cluster of low-probability high-score outcomes here, creating a richer, more granular view of expected match dynamics.
Injuries, lineup announcements, weather conditions, and recent form can all shift this market. Key moments like a star player being ruled out or a surprise tactical change may cause rapid repricing, especially on platforms with thinner order books. Additionally, broader narratives — such as home-team pressure or recent head-to-head histories — can sway trader sentiment, moving implied probabilities for various scorelines as the match approaches.
