This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Sri Lanka and Nepal scheduled for September 28 2026 at 8:00 PM ET in Asian Games Men. The outcome corresponding to Sri Lanka will be considered correct if Sri Lanka is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Nepal will be considered correct if Nepal is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on models and internal analysis, while this market aggregates the views of many individuals. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Comparing the odds can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making, though it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees of the outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the toss result. The market’s price is driven by supply and demand, with higher demand pushing prices up and lower demand pushing them down.
This market resolves around Oct 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the toss – which team wins – will be used to determine the winning share in this market. Resolution relies on publicly available information regarding the official toss result for the Sri Lanka vs Nepal match. The platform will verify the outcome against reliable sources to ensure an accurate settlement.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team form, player availability, or pitch conditions could shift expectations. Unexpected weather forecasts for the match location could also play a role, as toss outcomes can be affected by conditions. Public sentiment and any major shifts in betting patterns at sportsbooks may also influence traders on Polymarket. Ultimately, any information perceived as relevant to the toss outcome has the potential to move this market.
