This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Malaysia and Oman scheduled for September 26 2026 at 1:00 AM ET in Asian Games Men. The outcome corresponding to Malaysia will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Malaysia. The outcome corresponding to Oman will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Oman. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular player, the price increases, reflecting growing confidence in their likelihood of being the top batter. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic process ensures that the market price constantly adjusts to reflect the latest information and sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player scores the most runs for their respective team (Malaysia or Oman) during the entirety of the match. The official match results, as published by recognized sporting authorities, will serve as the basis for determining the winning outcome in this market. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts impacting playing conditions could significantly shift probabilities. Unexpected announcements about player form or strategic changes could also drive movement. Furthermore, major performance shifts in other relevant matches leading up to the event could influence perceptions of player capabilities. Finally, large trades by influential market participants on Polymarket could also cause noticeable price fluctuations.
