This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Hong Kong and Oman scheduled for September 24 2026 at 8:00 PM ET in Asian Games Men. The outcome corresponding to Hong Kong will be considered correct if Hong Kong is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Oman will be considered correct if Oman is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome – in this case, either Hong Kong or Oman winning the toss. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly reflects the market’s assessment of the likelihood of that outcome occurring. This dynamic pricing allows the market to rapidly incorporate new information and adjust expectations as the event approaches.
This market resolves around Oct 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the toss – which team wins – will be sourced from official event broadcasts or reporting. The market will then settle to reflect the actual winner of the toss. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will lose their investment. The resolution process is designed to be transparent and based on publicly available information.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team form, potential changes to playing conditions, or even weather forecasts could impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements related to team captains or key players might also cause shifts in the odds. Furthermore, large trading volume from informed traders could signal a change in expectations. As the event draws closer, even minor updates or rumors can have a noticeable effect on this market, reflecting the collective assessment of traders on Polymarket.
