It's possible to find value by comparing the odds and identifying situations where the market diverges from sportsbook expectations.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. This market resolves around Oct 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player scores the most runs for their respective team (Afghanistan or Nepal) during the entirety of the match. The official match results will be used to determine the winning outcome, and the platform will verify this information against reliable sources to ensure accuracy. The outcome will be determined by the official scorekeeping of the Asian Games cricket tournament.

Several factors could influence this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts impacting playing conditions could significantly shift trader sentiment. Strong performances by a player in prior matches or recent form could also drive up their share price. Unexpected developments during the match itself, such as a key batsman getting out early, would also likely cause substantial price movements. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of each player being the top batter has the potential to move this market.
