This market focuses on determining which team will score more runs in a specific inning of an upcoming baseball game between the A's and Tampa Bay. It provides a way to speculate on the short-term performance of each team during a single inning of play.
The market resolves based on the number of runs scored by each team specifically during the 5th inning of the scheduled game. If the A's score more runs than Tampa Bay in that inning, the 'A's wins 5th inning' market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Tampa Bay scores more runs than the A's in the 5th inning, the 'Tampa Bay wins 5th inning' market resolves to Yes. Should neither team score more runs than the other—meaning the inning ends in a tie—the 'Tie 5th inning' market resolves to Yes. Importantly, only runs scored during the 5th inning are considered for resolution. If the game is called or suspended before the completion of the 5th inning, all markets will resolve to a Fair Price. The outcome is strictly based on the runs scored in that single inning, with no consideration given to the overall game result or any other innings.
