This event determines which team leads after the first five innings of the A's vs San Francisco game on June 24, 2026, including the possibility of a tied score at that point.
Resolution is based on the score at the end of the fifth inning in the A's vs San Francisco professional baseball game originally scheduled for June 24, 2026 at 9:45 PM EDT. The A's outcome resolves to Yes if the A's has a higher score after five innings, the San Francisco outcome resolves to Yes if San Francisco has a higher score after five innings, and the Tie outcome resolves to Yes if both teams have an equal score after five innings. If the score is tied after five innings, only the Tie outcome resolves to Yes and all team outcomes resolve to No. If the game is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and resolves after the rescheduled game concludes within two days.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders who profit or lose based on accuracy. This market may show different implied probabilities than traditional sports betting sites because traders here are motivated purely by correctness rather than by the sportsbook's need to balance liability. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value opportunities.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each possible outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the latest matched trade, and as new information emerges—injury reports, weather updates, or lineup changes—traders adjust their orders, pushing prices up or down. Your ability to buy or sell at any time means the market price continuously incorporates fresh signals, making it a dynamic gauge of real-time expectations for the first five innings of this matchup.
This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, once the first five innings of the game are complete and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be determined by the final score or result recorded at the end of the fifth inning, confirmed through official game records. Until that point, prices may fluctuate as live game action unfolds and traders update their positions based on what they observe on the field.
Several catalysts could shift prices before the market closes. Roster announcements—such as a key player being ruled out or a surprise starter being named—often trigger sharp moves. Weather forecasts, particularly wind direction and speed at the ballpark, can influence scoring expectations. Real-time game action is the most powerful driver: runs scored, errors, or momentum swings during the first five innings will cause traders to reassess probabilities and adjust their positions. Breaking news about injuries or late-game decisions can also spark volatility as participants recalibrate their edge.
