These markets focus on whether specific players will achieve certain thresholds of total bases in an upcoming baseball game between the A's and Kansas City. Total bases are calculated by summing the bases earned per hit during the game.
The markets resolve based on whether designated players record specified numbers of total bases in the A's vs Kansas City game scheduled for Aug 17, 2026. If a player is scratched, not in the starting lineup, or starts but records no plate appearances, the market resolves to the fair market price. If a player enters the game as a substitute but does not start, the market also resolves to the fair market price, with pinch-hit at-bats excluded. Only players who are in the starting lineup and record at least one plate appearance contribute to the settlement, which depends solely on the total bases they achieve during the game.
