On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders collectively set the odds for each possible score outcome through buying and selling shares. The current probability for each exact score reflects the ratio of shares sold to those available, with liquidity levels influencing price stability. As the match date nears, news, team form, and injury updates can cause rapid shifts in these probabilities, driven purely by participant activity on the platform.
This market resolves around Aug 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score reported by official match sources will determine which exact score outcome is correct, and shares in that outcome will pay out accordingly based on the final trading price.
Injuries to key players, changes in coaching strategy, or recent form for either team can significantly shift this market. Weather conditions, referee announcements, and even early match events like red cards or rapid goals may cause rapid re-pricing. Traders will react to any news impacting the likely scoreline, with volume potentially spiking around Aug 29, 2026 as the match approaches.
