In the upcoming Ligue 1 game between AS Monaco FC and Racing Club de Lens, scheduled for September 18, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the AS Monaco FC vs. Racing Club de Lens match originally scheduled for September 18, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market aggregates the diverse perspectives of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a particular first-half score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. These differences can present opportunities for informed traders to find value, but it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact first-half scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform’s design incentivizes accurate predictions, as traders who correctly anticipate the outcome profit from their positions, while those who are wrong incur losses.
This market resolves around Sep 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score at the end of the first half of the AS Monaco vs. Lens match will determine the winning outcome. The official match result, as reported by a reputable sports data provider, will be used to settle the market. Traders holding shares in the correct exact first-half score will receive a payout based on the market’s pricing at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either AS Monaco or Lens would likely cause significant shifts. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could also impact the expected style of play and therefore the probability of different scores. Even pre-match analysis from respected football commentators and analysts could sway trader sentiment and move the market. Any unexpected developments leading up to kickoff have the potential to alter the odds.
