Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (Monaco win, draw, or Marseille win) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 5, 2026, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official Ligue 1 statistics and governing body records, with fallback to credible reporting consensus if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Exactly one of three mutually exclusive outcomes will occur: Monaco wins, draw, or Marseille wins.
Resolution is based solely on the result after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time (no extra time or penalties).
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the game is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, the Monaco win and Marseille win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the game is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, Monaco win resolves NO, Marseille win resolves NO, and draw resolves YES.
Delayed Official Statistics: If official Ligue 1 statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution uses consensus from credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of final match statistics by Ligue 1 or the governing body, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are unavailable.
