Generally, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can sometimes differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. If a significant number of people believe a particular score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of a decentralized market compared to a centralized bookmaker. It's valuable to compare both to form a well-rounded perspective.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores for the Aruba vs. Antigua match. The price of each share reflects the probability of that score occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective prediction. Higher demand for a particular score will drive its price up, indicating a higher perceived probability, while lower demand will push the price down. This creates a dynamic and responsive pricing system.
This market resolves around Sep 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Aruba vs. Antigua match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score determined by official sources will be used to determine which shares pay out. The market will then settle, and winning shares will be redeemable for the predetermined payout amount. It’s important to note that the resolution relies on a definitive, publicly available result for the game, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome for all participants in this market.
