If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can sometimes differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by what traders are willing to pay for shares representing each possible outcome. If a significant number of people believe an outcome is more likely than a sportsbook suggests, the price of shares in that outcome will rise, potentially offering better value than the sportsbook's implied probability. It’s a good way to gauge public sentiment around the match.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where shares representing each possible exact score are bought and sold. The price of each share reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the traders on the platform. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing means the market odds are constantly adjusting based on new information and changing opinions about the likely result of the Arsenal vs. Manchester United match.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Arsenal WFC versus Manchester United WFC match will be used to determine the winning shares. The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by a widely recognized sports data provider. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the result is officially confirmed and the market is settled on Polymarket.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Arsenal WFC or Manchester United WFC would likely cause shifts in the odds. Significant tactical changes announced by either team’s manager could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match analysis from prominent football commentators, could all contribute to price movements in this market. Public perception and any late-breaking news will be reflected in the trading volume and share prices.
