These markets evaluate how many points will be scored in the final quarter of a college football game between Arkansas and Utah. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams combined during that specific period.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the 4th quarter (excluding overtime) of the Arkansas vs Utah college football game scheduled for September 12, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold: if the combined score exceeds that threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. For all markets, only points scored during the 4th quarter count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by a small team of experts, while this market benefits from the input of many individuals. While sportsbooks may initially focus on statistical analysis and team performance, this market can incorporate a wider range of factors, including news, injuries, and even public sentiment. It’s common to see differences emerge, especially as new information becomes available leading up to the game.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the total points scored in the fourth quarter will be above or below a certain threshold. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a real-time probability assessment. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The closer the price is to 100, the more traders believe the event will occur, and vice-versa. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly adapt to new information and reflect the evolving expectations of participants.
This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Arkansas-Utah game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The total points scored in the fourth quarter will be tallied, and the market will settle based on whether that total exceeds the implied threshold set by the contract prices on Kalshi. Resolution will occur shortly after the conclusion of the game, ensuring a timely and accurate settlement for all participants. The final result will be based on official game statistics.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the game concludes. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Arkansas or Utah would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to affect scoring, could also shift the market. Unexpected announcements about coaching strategies or team lineups could also move the price. Finally, public sentiment and large bets placed on Kalshi can create momentum and influence the direction of the market as the game approaches.
