These markets evaluate how many points are scored in the final quarter of a college football game between Arkansas State and TCU. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams combined in the fourth quarter, excluding any overtime periods.
The markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the fourth quarter of the Arkansas St. vs TCU college football game scheduled for September 19, 2026, excluding overtime. Each market has a specific threshold: if the combined fourth-quarter points exceed the stated threshold (2.5, 5.5, 7.5, 10.5, 12.5, 13.5, 16.5, 19.5, 20.5, 23.5, or 27.5), the respective market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored during the fourth quarter count, and the markets are independent of any association with the NCAA.
Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own analysis. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, especially as new information emerges or public opinion shifts. Comparing the two can provide a more comprehensive understanding of the expected outcome, though this market is driven by traders’ individual assessments.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the 4th quarter total. The price of a contract ranges from 0 to 100, representing the probability of the 'yes' outcome (the total being over the implied line). On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective prediction of the market. The current price indicates what the market believes is the likelihood of the total points scored in the 4th quarter exceeding a certain threshold.
This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Arkansas St vs TCU game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The total points scored in the 4th quarter will be compared to the implied line to determine whether the 'yes' or 'no' outcome prevails. The resolution will be based on official game statistics, ensuring a transparent and objective determination of the result. Traders should monitor official sources for the final score to understand the market’s resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Arkansas St or TCU would likely cause significant movement, as it impacts scoring potential. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to affect the passing or running game, could also shift expectations. Furthermore, in-game performance during the first three quarters could influence traders' beliefs about the likely 4th quarter total, leading to price adjustments. Unexpected coaching decisions or strategic shifts could also play a role in moving this market.
