These markets evaluate how many points Arkansas State and TCU will score together in the first quarter of their college football game. Each market has a different threshold for the total points needed to settle the outcome.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams combined during the first quarter of play in the Arkansas St. vs TCU college football game scheduled for September 19, 2026. If the collective points exceed the specified threshold for each market, it resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. For all markets, only points scored in the first quarter count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market represents the aggregated predictions of many individual traders. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when public opinion strongly favors one outcome. Comparing the two can reveal insights into where the market believes sportsbooks may be over or underestimating the probability of a particular result. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the total score in the first quarter. The price of a contract indicates the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy contracts for a specific outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities as the event approaches. The current price reflects the collective judgment of all participants trading on Kalshi.
This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the first quarter between Arkansas St. and TCU will be used to determine the winning contracts. The resolution will be based on the official game statistics as reported by a recognized sports data provider. Traders holding contracts corresponding to the actual total score in the first quarter will receive a payout, while those holding losing contracts will forfeit their investment. The outcome is determined by objective data, not subjective interpretation.
Several factors could influence trading activity and move this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries for either Arkansas St. or TCU would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest conditions favorable to one team's style of play, could also shift expectations. Additionally, any major shifts in public sentiment, perhaps driven by expert analysis or social media trends, could influence trading volume and price. Finally, as the game draws closer, any information regarding team strategies or starting lineups could cause the market to react.
