In the upcoming Arizona vs Los Angeles Chargers game, specific players' longest rushing plays are tracked. Omarion Hampton and Tyler Allgeier are each observed for their longest runs during the match.
Markets resolve to Yes if Omarion Hampton or Tyler Allgeier records a longest rush exceeding their specified yardage thresholds—16.5 yards for Hampton and 10.5 yards for Allgeier—in the Arizona vs Los Angeles Chargers game scheduled for September 13, 2026. If either player is active but does not take a snap, the market settles at the fair market price before kickoff. Once a player takes at least one snap, regardless of whether the play is nullified by penalty, the market settles based on the longest rush recorded. The markets are independent, and Kalshi disclaims any official affiliation with the governing league.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders' beliefs about the likelihood of each player achieving the longest rush. Often, prediction markets are more accurate than sportsbook lines, especially when there's significant public interest and trading volume. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, and discrepancies can arise due to differing information or biases.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. Higher demand for a particular player’s contract will drive up its price, indicating increased confidence in their potential for a long rush. Conversely, lower demand will decrease the price. Traders are constantly adjusting their positions, creating a dynamic and informative market signal.
This market resolves around Sep 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The player with the longest single rushing attempt during the Arizona versus Los Angeles game will be declared the winner. Official NFL game statistics will be used to determine the longest rush, and the resolution will be based on the official game results. Any ties will be handled according to the platform's rules, which are available for review on Kalshi.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. News regarding player injuries to key running backs on either team would significantly impact the odds. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or snow, could affect the game plan and favor different players. Unexpected starting lineup announcements or reports about a player’s health status could also cause shifts in the market. Finally, any significant public betting activity or analysis from sports analysts could also move the prices, as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions.
