This set of markets tracks how many touchdowns are caught by players during a college football game between Arizona State and Texas A&M. Each market focuses on a specific threshold of receiving touchdowns for either team, determining whether they meet or exceed that number.
All markets resolve based on the official number of receiving touchdowns scored by each team in the Arizona St. vs Texas A&M college football game scheduled for September 12, 2026. A receiving touchdown is counted when a player catches the ball and scores in the end zone, including instances where the player recovers their own fumble and scores. Touchdowns scored by other players after recovering a fumble by the intended receiver do not count. All touchdowns, including those scored in overtime, are included in the totals. Successful two-point conversions, regardless of when they occur, do not count toward any market outcome. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original scheduled time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to express their own probabilities based on available information. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, the price in this market will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts leading up to the game.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome – in this case, which team will have more touchdowns. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective probability of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices will fluctuate, providing a dynamic assessment of the likelihood of each team scoring more touchdowns. The current price represents the cost to purchase a contract that pays out if that outcome is realized.
This market resolves around Sep 12, 2026, following the conclusion of the Arizona State vs. Texas A&M game. The outcome will be determined by which team scores more touchdowns during the game, verified against credible public reporting of the final game statistics. The official game results will serve as the basis for determining the winning outcome in this market. Any potential overtime periods will be included in the final touchdown count for resolution purposes.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the game concludes. News regarding key player injuries for either Arizona State or Texas A&M would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest conditions favorable to one team’s offensive style, could also impact trading activity. Furthermore, any pre-game analysis from reputable sports analysts predicting a strong offensive performance from one team could shift the market’s sentiment. Public betting patterns and overall game hype can also contribute to price fluctuations in this market.
