On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the collective wisdom of the traders on the platform. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information and expectations.
This market resolves around Sep 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on the official result of the second half of the Argentina vs. Mexico match. The platform will rely on widely available and trusted sources to determine which outcome occurred. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies based on the verified result of the second half.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team tactics, or even weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. A strong performance by either team in the first half of the match would likely have a significant impact. Unexpected events during the second half, such as red cards or penalties, could also cause substantial price movements. Overall, any information that alters the perceived probability of either outcome has the potential to move this market.
