The market resolves on Jun 23, 2026, which corresponds to the end of the Argentina-Austria match. The outcome is determined by the total number of yellow and red cards issued to both teams combined during the match. If the combined card count reaches 4 or more, the affirmative outcome wins; if it stays below 4, the negative outcome prevails. Resolution depends on the official match statistics and the referee's card decisions throughout the full 90 minutes plus any added time.
Several factors can shift odds before kickoff and during the match. Pre-match signals include confirmed team lineups—particularly whether aggressive or disciplined players start—and referee assignment, as different officials have varying card-issuing tendencies. Tactical announcements revealing high-intensity or defensive strategies can also move the market. During the match itself, early cards, physical play, and accumulating fouls will drive real-time repricing. Injuries to key players or unexpected tactical shifts mid-game can alter the expected card volume, causing traders to adjust their positions and shift the probability up or down.
