Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect the actual probability that traders assign to each exact score, driven by community input and real-time trading. Sportsbooks may set broader lines for simplicity or to manage risk, while prediction markets can price highly specific outcomes like particular scorelines. As a result, you might see sharper differences or more nuanced pricing on platforms that track this market, especially when unusual outcomes gain traction among participants.
On Polymarket and Limitless, prices can vary because each platform has its own user base, liquidity, and trading dynamics. Polymarket and Limitless can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one venue might attract more fans of a particular team, skewing its odds toward outcomes that favor that side. Additionally, different fee structures or minimum trade sizes can influence how traders place bets, leading to price gaps. These factors mean that Polymarket could show one scoreline as more likely, while Limitless leans toward another, reflecting diverse community perspectives on the match.
