This market will resolve to "YES" if at least one marriage proposal is publicly documented at a 2026 FIFA World Cup venue between June 18, 2026, 12:00 UTC and July 19, 2026, 23:59 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." A qualifying proposal must be clearly identifiable as a marriage proposal through visible actions such as kneeling, presenting a ring, or an explicit verbal or physical gesture of proposing. The proposal must take place at or inside a World Cup stadium, with the presence of other spectators or match-related activity visible in the footage or reporting, confirming it occurred in connection with an official match or event. Proposals by fans, players, staff, or any other attendees qualify. The footage or reporting must be authentic. Digitally altered content, AI-generated media, or staged reproductions will not qualify. If the relevant information is unavailable for 72 hours after July 19, 2026, 23:59 UTC, this market will resolve to "NO." The primary resolution source will be credible video or photographic evidence published by an official broadcaster, accredited news outlet, or FIFA's official social media accounts. If such evidence is unavailable, a consensus of credible reporting from major outlets may also be used.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing "yes" (a proposal occurs) or "no" (it does not). On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price reflects the equilibrium between buyers and sellers at any moment. As new information emerges—such as media coverage, celebrity attendance, or cultural trends around the World Cup—traders adjust their positions, moving the price up or down. This dynamic pricing model ensures the odds continuously reflect the latest collective assessment of proposal likelihood.
This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, shortly after the 2026 World Cup concludes. The outcome is determined by whether a marriage proposal is publicly documented and verified during the tournament window. Resolution will be confirmed once credible public reporting—such as news coverage, official statements, or widely corroborated social media evidence—establishes whether such a proposal took place. Traders should monitor major sports and entertainment news outlets as the event unfolds to track developments that could influence the final outcome.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly. Celebrity attendance announcements, particularly high-profile couples known to be World Cup fans, could increase proposal likelihood perception. Media speculation or viral social media trends about proposals at major sporting events would likely move the market upward. Conversely, increased security measures or venue restrictions might reduce the odds. As the tournament date approaches, each confirmed attendee list, stadium capacity decisions, and cultural commentary around romance at the World Cup could trigger trading activity. Real-time proposal announcements during matches would drive final price movements before resolution.
