While sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and profit margins, this market reflects the wisdom of the crowd. Discrepancies can arise from differing information sources, risk assessments, or simply varying levels of public enthusiasm for a particular outcome. If significant differences exist, it could indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the event, or vice versa. Analyzing these differences can be a valuable strategy for informed decision-making.
