PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict define identical resolution criteria for determining the first team to score, including the handling of postponements, cancellations, and the use of fallback data sources.Primary resolution logic: Official match statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers, with a defined hierarchy of fallback sources (Flashscore, Sofascore, consensus reporting).

Core resolution logic:

  • The first goal scored within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time determines the winner.
  • If no goal is scored within the specified timeframe, the market resolves to 'Neither'.
  • Postponed matches will remain open until completion.
  • Canceled matches will resolve to 'Neither'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours of the match's conclusion, the resolution will fall back to Flashscore, then Sofascore, and finally a consensus of credible reporting. If no data is available within 24 hours, the market will resolve 50-50 (or 'Draw' where applicable).
  • Score Revisions: Revisions to officially declared final scores made *after* market resolution will not affect the outcome.
Timing: Resolution will occur as soon as official match statistics are available, but no later than 24 hours after the match's conclusion, potentially resolving to a 50-50 split if data remains unavailable. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
