This market covers the first-round tennis match between Andrey Rublev and Roman Safiullin at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles tournament. Traders predict the exact set score by which one player will defeat the other in this best-of-five-sets competition.
The market resolves based on the final set score of the Andrey Rublev vs Roman Safiullin match at 2026 Wimbledon Men Singles Round Of 128. If the match does not occur due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation before play begins, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires during the match, any market that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play will resolve accordingly; markets that cannot be unconditionally settled resolve to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market may show odds that differ meaningfully from major sportsbooks, especially as new information emerges or as the event date approaches. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd on Kalshi sees value relative to conventional betting markets.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each possible exact score outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the collective willingness of buyers and sellers to transact at that level, with tighter spreads indicating higher confidence and liquidity. As match details emerge or expectations shift, traders adjust their orders, causing prices to move dynamically until the market resolves.
This market resolves around Jun 29, 2026, once the Rublev vs Safiullin match concludes and the final set score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact number of sets won by each player in the completed match. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. Resolution timing depends on when the match finishes and results are officially confirmed.
Key catalysts include recent form and head-to-head records between the two players, injury reports or fitness concerns, court surface conditions, and tournament context. Betting market movement from sportsbooks can also influence trader sentiment on this market. As the match date approaches, any official announcements about player availability or match scheduling changes will likely trigger repricing. During the match itself, live performance and set progression will drive sharp traders to adjust positions, creating volatility in real time.
