This market tracks the total number of games played in the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Qualification Final between Andrea Guerrieri and Kyrian Jacquet on June 24. Bettors predict whether the match will extend beyond various game thresholds, with longer matches resulting in higher game totals.
The market resolves based on the total number of completed games in the full match between Andrea Guerrieri and Kyrian Jacquet at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Qualification Final. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to fair price. Postponed or delayed matches remain open until the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are settled at fair market price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and audiences. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets reflect pure trader belief about outcomes. This market aggregates the views of many independent forecasters with real money at stake, which can reveal signals that traditional oddsmakers miss. Comparing the two can highlight where consensus differs and which venue may be pricing in newer or overlooked information.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares tied to different game-count outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the collective willingness of traders to bet on that result, with higher prices indicating stronger conviction. As new evidence or developments emerge, traders adjust their positions, and prices move to reflect updated expectations around the total number of games.
This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, once the Guerrieri versus Jacquet event concludes and the final game count is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the actual number of games played in the matchup. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information and developments influence their forecasts.
Several factors could shift this market before resolution. Injury announcements or changes to either player's form could alter expectations about match length and competitiveness. Betting patterns or public commentary from analysts may influence trader sentiment. Head-to-head history, recent performance trends, and any scheduling or format changes could also trigger repricing. As the event date approaches, increased media coverage and expert predictions often drive final adjustments in market odds.
