This market tracks the total number of games played in the first-round tennis match between Aleksandar Vukic and Jenson Brooksby at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles tournament on June 29. The match length depends on how competitive the contest is and whether it goes to multiple sets.
Resolution is based on the total number of completed games in the full match between Aleksandar Vukic and Jenson Brooksby at 2026 Wimbledon Men Singles Round Of 128. If the match does not occur due to player injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation before play begins, the market resolves to a fair price. If postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are settled at Fair Market Price as determined by the Exchange.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who profit or lose based on accuracy. Prediction markets typically incorporate real-time information faster and can be more efficient at pricing uncertain outcomes. Comparing this market's implied probability to major sportsbook lines on the same event can reveal where professional traders and casual bettors disagree, sometimes highlighting value opportunities.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing different game-count outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the ratio of buy to sell pressure at any given moment, with the current implied probability shown as a percentage. Traders can enter or exit positions at market prices or place limit orders to wait for their target price. This mechanism ensures transparent, real-time pricing driven by the collective decisions of all active participants.
This market resolves around Jun 29, 2026, once the Vukic versus Brooksby match concludes and the final game count is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the total number of games played in the completed match. Resolution occurs automatically after the event is finalized and confirmed, at which point all positions settle according to the actual result. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before the match begins or during play. Injury announcements or late withdrawals involving either player would significantly alter expectations about match length and intensity. Recent performance trends, head-to-head history, and surface suitability can influence how traders assess the likely number of games. Court conditions, weather, and scheduling delays may also prompt repricing. During the match itself, the score progression and momentum swings will drive real-time adjustments as traders update their forecasts based on how the contest actually unfolds.
