This market determines the winner of the third set in the professional tennis match between Aleksandar Vukic and Jenson Brooksby at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Round of 128 on June 29. The market resolves based on who wins the set in actual play.
The market resolves to Yes if the corresponding player wins set 3 of the match. If the match does not occur before it starts due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open until the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are resolved to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders who profit from accurate forecasting. Prediction markets can sometimes price outcomes more efficiently because participants have direct financial exposure to accuracy. However, sportsbooks may move faster on late-breaking injury reports or tactical shifts. Comparing both sources provides a fuller picture of where informed opinion sits on this matchup's third set.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective belief about that player's probability of winning Set 3, ranging from $0 to $1. As new information emerges—such as the outcome of earlier sets, player fatigue, or momentum shifts—traders adjust their orders, causing prices to move. Higher prices indicate stronger market conviction; lower prices suggest skepticism. This continuous repricing ensures the market remains responsive to real-world developments throughout the trading period.
This market resolves around Jun 29, 2026, once the third set of the Vukic vs Brooksby match concludes and the winner is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which player wins the set according to official match records. All shares corresponding to the winning player's outcome will be worth $1 at settlement, while losing shares expire worthless. Traders should monitor the match schedule and any postponements or format changes that might affect the timing of resolution.
Several factors could shift odds before this market resolves. The outcome of Sets 1 and 2 will heavily influence third-set pricing, as momentum and fatigue play major roles in tennis. Injury reports, player form leading into the match, and recent head-to-head records are early catalysts. During play, real-time developments—such as a player winning a crucial break, visible fatigue, or tactical adjustments—will trigger sharp repricing. Court conditions, weather, and crowd dynamics can also matter. Traders typically react fastest to on-court events, so odds may swing significantly as the match unfolds and the third set approaches.
