This market determines the winner of the second set in the professional tennis match between Aleksandar Vukic and Jenson Brooksby at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Round of 128 on June 29. The market resolves based on who wins the set in actual play.
The market resolves to Yes if the corresponding player wins set 2 of the match. If the match does not occur before it starts due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open until the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are resolved to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who have real money at stake. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because traders profit by identifying mispriced outcomes. However, sportsbooks may occasionally lead on breaking news or injury updates. Comparing both sources helps you identify value and understand where consensus lies on this market's outcome.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each player's chances of winning Set 2. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the aggregate willingness of buyers and sellers to transact at that level, with the spread between bid and ask representing the current liquidity gap. As new information emerges—such as player form, court conditions, or injury reports—traders adjust their orders, causing prices to shift. This dynamic pricing model ensures the market continuously incorporates available information.
This market resolves around Jun 29, 2026, once the second set of the Vukic versus Brooksby match concludes and the outcome is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winner of Set 2 will be confirmed through official match records and sports data sources. Until that point, prices will fluctuate based on pre-match analysis, live-match developments, and trader sentiment. After resolution, all shares will be settled according to the confirmed result, with winning positions paid out at full value.
Several factors could shift prices significantly before Jun 29, 2026. Player injury announcements or fitness updates will influence expectations immediately. Pre-match commentary from analysts, recent head-to-head records, and surface-specific performance data often trigger trading activity. Court conditions, weather forecasts, and tournament context (round, seeding, momentum) can all sway trader positioning. During the first set, live momentum—breaks of serve, set pace, and player confidence—will likely cause sharp repricing as traders update their views on Set 2 dynamics. Late-breaking lineup or surface changes could also spark volatility.
