More markets for the National League game, scheduled for September 15 at 2:45 PM ET.
The event resolves based on the outcome of the Aldershot vs Halifax professional English National League soccer match scheduled for September 5, 2026, after 90 minutes plus stoppage time—excluding extra time or penalty kicks. Three distinct markets correspond to possible results: Aldershot win, Halifax win, or a tie. If the match concludes with either team securing a victory within regulation time, the respective market resolves to Yes. Should the game end in a tie after regulation, the Tie market resolves to Yes. In the event the match is cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets will resolve to a fair price as determined per the platform's guidelines. The resolution strictly considers regulation time results, with no account for post-regulation deciding factors such as extra time or penalty shootouts.
Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Kalshi, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the mechanisms driving price discovery. Sportsbooks set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while prediction markets rely on the wisdom of the crowd. This market’s odds reflect the collective beliefs of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. Consequently, prediction markets can sometimes offer more accurate probabilities, especially when incorporating information not fully captured by sportsbook algorithms. The difference can also stem from differing levels of market efficiency and liquidity between the two.
