The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a more accurate forecast than traditional sportsbook odds, as they aggregate the knowledge and insights of a diverse group of traders. While sportsbooks may incorporate biases or limitations in their modeling, this market allows anyone to participate and express their beliefs about the likely outcome. However, sportsbook odds can still be a useful data point for comparison, and discrepancies between the two can sometimes present arbitrage opportunities for informed traders. It’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, but are derived through different mechanisms.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth and trading volume influence how quickly prices respond to new information, and larger volume generally indicates greater confidence in the predicted outcome.
This market resolves around Sep 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Aldershot Town vs. Tamworth match will be used to determine the winning share(s) in this market. The resolution will be based on the exact score at the end of regulation time, as officially recorded by the governing football authorities. Traders should ensure they understand the event details to accurately assess the potential outcomes and manage their positions.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly shift expectations. Unexpected weather conditions on match day or pre-game analysis from reputable sports commentators could also impact trading volume and price movements. Furthermore, significant bets placed by informed traders, or large shifts in public opinion, could trigger a cascade of buying or selling pressure, leading to noticeable changes in the odds for this market.
