This event is for the WBB game between Alabama Crimson Tide and Louisville Cardinals on March 23 at 12:00 PM ET.
If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed.
If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50.
Kalshi resolves YES for both possible outcomes (Alabama win OR Louisville win), creating a logical contradiction that makes the market fundamentally unresolvable. Polymarket correctly resolves to a single winner (Alabama Crimson Tide or Louisville Cardinals) based on game outcome, with a 50-50 cancellation clause as fallback.
Hero Tip:
Do NOT trade on Kalshi — the market rules state it resolves YES regardless of whether Alabama or Louisville wins, meaning there is no NO outcome possible. This is a data integrity failure. Polymarket is the only tradeable market in this group, as it properly resolves to one of two mutually exclusive outcomes.
Critical Divergence Points:
Kalshi:
Outlier: Market resolves YES if Louisville wins AND YES if Alabama wins, creating a logical impossibility where both outcomes trigger YES resolution. Key quote: 'If Louisville wins... then the market resolves to Yes. If Alabama wins... then the market resolves to Yes.'
Polymarket:
Aligned with standard sports betting logic: Market resolves to exactly one outcome — either 'Alabama Crimson Tide' or 'Louisville Cardinals' — based on final game score, with 50-50 split only if game is canceled with no makeup. Key quote: 'If the Alabama Crimson Tide win, the market will resolve to Alabama Crimson Tide. If the Louisville Cardinals win, the market will resolve to Louisville Cardinals.'
