Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi apply identical resolution logic: official final score from slstat.com or Saudi Pro League governing body, 90 minutes plus stoppage time only, 50-50 on cancellation, and consistent edge-case handling for postponement and incomplete matches.
Primary resolution logic:
slstat.com (official Saudi Professional League statistics); fallback to governing body or credible reporting consensus if official statistics unavailable within 2 hours post-match
Core resolution logic:
Spread markets (Al Taawoun -1.5, -2.5; Al Ittihad -1.5, -2.5) resolve based on goal margin: threshold met = named team wins, otherwise opponent wins
Over/Under total goals (1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5) resolve Yes if combined goals meet or exceed threshold, No if below
Both Teams to Score resolves Yes if each team scores at least 1 goal, No if either team scores 0
All resolutions measure only 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time; extra time and penalties excluded
Postponed matches remain open until completion; canceled matches with no makeup resolve 50-50
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: Market remains open and unresolved until the match is completed on a new date
Match Cancellation (No Makeup): All markets in the group resolve 50-50 (equal payout to both outcomes)
Incomplete Match (Started but Not Finished): Resolves according to official final score published on slstat.com at time of stoppage
Official Statistics Delay: If slstat.com or governing body do not publish within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus may be used as fallback
Extra Time or Penalties: Not included in resolution; only 90 minutes plus stoppage time counts
Timing:
Resolution occurs after match completion (90 minutes plus stoppage time). Official statistics must be published within 2 hours post-match; if delayed, credible reporting consensus is used. Postponed matches remain open indefinitely until played.
