Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
All markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams combined in the specified soccer match after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shootout scenarios. Each market has a different threshold (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, or 5.5 goals) that must be exceeded for the market to resolve to Yes. The governing league's official score will be used, and Kalshi disclaims any affiliation with the league or ownership of related trademarks.

Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect crowd-sourced probabilities rather than bookmaker adjustments. While sportsbooks may set broader lines to manage risk and ensure profit margins, prediction markets price outcomes based on trader activity, which can be more granular and responsive to recent news or performance shifts. This often results in tighter clusters around specific scores, especially for high-probability outcomes, whereas sportsbooks typically offer over/under or spread options instead of exact scores.
Injuries, lineup changes, or key performances leading up to the match can shift probabilities in this market. Strong recent form from either team, weather conditions affecting play, or even tactical announcements from coaches may cause traders to reassess likely scorelines. As the game nears, any last-minute news — such as star player availability — often creates rapid moves in the odds, especially on platforms with active betting volumes.
