Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to diverse participant motivations and real-time updates. While sportsbooks may set fixed odds based on analytics, prediction markets reflect crowd-sourced beliefs that can shift rapidly with news, injuries, or form. This creates potential value gaps, especially when market sentiment diverges from established betting lines.
On Polymarket and Predict, this market is priced through separate user pools, so each venue can develop its own bias. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, regional fans or early lineups may push one platform’s odds more than the other’s. Differences in liquidity — meaning how much volume of $12,656 supports each price — also create gaps. When one side sees heavy betting, its implied chance shifts faster, while the other lags. These dynamics mean the two platforms can favor different scorelines at any moment.
