These markets track specific combinations of outcomes between the first half and the full game result in an upcoming college football match. Each market requires both the first half result and the final game result to match a particular scenario for the market to settle positively. The outcomes depend on the official game results, including any overtime periods.
All markets resolve based on the combined results of both the first half and the full game (including overtime) of the Akron vs Wake Forest college football game scheduled for September 3, 2026. For a market to resolve as Yes, both the specified first half result and the specified full game result must occur exactly as described. If either the first half or full game result does not match the market's conditions, the market resolves to No. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the official final result. If the game fails to start within the 48-hour window, all markets will resolve to a fair price. These rules apply uniformly across all outcome combinations listed in the markets.
Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to varied participant motivations and information sources. While sportsbooks may set lines based on broader public betting trends and adjusted margins, prediction markets reflect the aggregated views of informed traders. This can lead to tighter spreads or different favorites, especially if new data emerges about team performance or injuries before the match.
On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Kalshi, traders manually set prices through buying and selling contracts, which determines the current implied probability for each possible outcome. The top outcome’s chance reflects the inverse of its current price, showing what the market thinks is most likely. Liquidity and trader activity drive fluctuations, particularly as game-related news such as player status or coaching changes develops.
This market resolves around Sep 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result will be determined by the official match records, reflecting the actual performance of both teams on game day. No further interpretation or external calculation is needed beyond confirming the reported score and result.
Injuries to key players, changes in coaching strategy, or significant performance shifts in practice sessions could all move this market. Weather conditions on game day, referee announcements, or even early in-game events like a quick lead may cause rapid price adjustments. Traders will react to any news that alters the perceived likelihood of each possible match result.
