In the upcoming Allsvenskan game between AIK and Mjallby AIF, scheduled for September 16, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the AIK vs. Mjallby AIF match originally scheduled for September 16, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like marketing and risk management into their odds, while this market relies purely on traders’ assessments of the likely outcome. Discrepancies can arise from differing information sources, analytical approaches, or simply the collective biases of each group. It’s common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast probabilities, especially when a large volume of traders participate in this market.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that score occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy into a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived chance of success. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the aggregate beliefs of all participants, creating a probabilistic forecast for the AIK vs. Mjallby match.
This market resolves around Sep 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final, official score of the AIK vs. Mjallby AIF match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score determined by official sources will be used to determine which shares payout, and at what rate. Any delays in official reporting may impact the resolution timeline, but the platform will work to resolve the market as quickly as possible following the official confirmation of the match result.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either AIK or Mjallby AIF would likely cause shifts in the odds.
