In the upcoming Allsvenskan game between AIK and GAIS, scheduled for July 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the AIK vs. GAIS match originally scheduled for July 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven purely by trader consensus—each participant risks real capital on their belief about the exact score. This market aggregates thousands of independent forecasts without a house edge, which can make it more responsive to new information and less constrained by commercial margins. Comparing this market's implied probabilities to sportsbook lines reveals where professional oddsmakers and decentralized traders disagree most sharply.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker (AMM) mechanism combined with order-book trading. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares representing each possible exact score, and the price of each outcome adjusts based on supply and demand. The AMM ensures liquidity is always available, even for less-popular scorelines, while the order book allows limit orders for more precise execution. As traders place bets, the implied probability of each outcome shifts in real time, creating a dynamic price discovery process that reflects the collective forecast of all participants.
This market resolves around Jul 18, 2026, once the AIK vs. GAIS match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regular play—for example, a 2–1 victory for either side or a 1–1 draw. Traders who correctly predicted the precise final score receive a payout proportional to their position size, while incorrect predictions expire worthless. Resolution is automatic once the match result is confirmed and recorded by official match data providers.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before kickoff and during the match. Pre-match catalysts include team news (injuries, suspensions, lineup announcements), recent form and head-to-head records, and weather conditions at the stadium. Once play begins, live action—early goals, red cards, or tactical changes—often triggers sharp repricing as traders update their scoreline forecasts. Betting syndicates and professional traders may also move odds in response to large bets or new information. Monitoring team social media, injury reports, and live match commentary helps traders anticipate these moves and adjust their positions accordingly.
