In the upcoming Premier League game between AFC Bournemouth and Liverpool FC, scheduled for September 20, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the AFC Bournemouth vs. Liverpool FC match originally scheduled for September 20, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by a smaller team of experts, while this market aggregates opinions from many individuals. It’s common to see discrepancies, particularly before significant events or when new information emerges. However, as the event approaches, the odds on Polymarket and sportsbook odds tend to converge, as both attempt to accurately predict the outcome of the Bournemouth vs. Liverpool first half.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different first-half exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market’s implied probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand, influenced by factors like team news, form, and public sentiment. This creates a dynamic pricing system that continuously updates as new information becomes available.
This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official first-half exact score as recorded by the governing football authorities. Any potential delays in official reporting could slightly postpone the resolution of this market. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand how this market will settle, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome for all participants.
Several signals could significantly move this market. Key events include any confirmed injuries or suspensions to star players from either Bournemouth or Liverpool, as this impacts the perceived strength of each team. Unexpected changes in team formations or tactical approaches could also influence trading activity. Furthermore, breaking news regarding weather conditions or refereeing decisions might shift the odds. Public sentiment, driven by media coverage and expert analysis, can also play a role in shaping the market’s direction before Sep 20, 2026.
