Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 19, 2026, with identical treatment of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official A-League statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers (a-league.com.au); if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves YES for Adelaide United FC win if Adelaide wins within 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES for Macarthur FC win if Macarthur wins within 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES for draw if the match ends in a draw within 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Exactly ONE of the three outcome markets will resolve YES.
If the game is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Adelaide and Macarthur win markets resolve NO, and the draw market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Game Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled game is completed.
Game Cancellation Without Makeup: If the game is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, the Adelaide win and Macarthur win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Extra Time and Penalties Excluded: Resolution is based only on the outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shootouts are not considered.
Resolution Source Hierarchy: Official A-League statistics are the primary source; if not published within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus becomes the resolution basis.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by the A-League or governing body, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are unavailable.
