On Polymarket, this market reflects crowd-sourced expectations through user trading activity, while traditional sportsbooks incorporate additional factors like historical performance and expert analysis. Prediction market odds often show sharper movements in response to real-time news, whereas sportsbook lines may adjust more conservatively to manage risk. The difference can be especially noticeable for niche matchups like the Fiorentina vs Frosinone second-half result market, where crowd insights might diverge from established sportsbook models. Over time, gaps between the two can shrink as more data emerges, but distinct approaches mean they rarely align perfectly.
