Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic: the match outcome is determined by the official result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 25, 2026, with three mutually exclusive outcomes (Reggiana win, Palermo win, or draw), and both platforms resolve to the governing body's official statistics as the primary source.
Primary resolution logic:
Lega Serie B (Italian Football League) official match statistics and records
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the final score after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only (no extra time or penalties).
Exactly one of three outcomes will occur: AC Reggiana 1919 wins, Palermo FC wins, or the match ends in a draw.
On Polymarket, the draw market resolves YES if the match ends in a draw, and the Reggiana/Palermo win markets resolve YES only if those teams win respectively.
On Kalshi, all three outcome markets (Reggiana win, Palermo win, Tie) resolve YES if their respective outcome occurs.
If the match is postponed, both platforms keep markets open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket's draw market resolves YES and win markets resolve NO; Kalshi's markets resolve NO for all outcomes.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match scheduled for April 25, 2026 is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is actually played, regardless of how much time passes.
Match Cancellation Without Rescheduling: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, Polymarket's draw market resolves YES (treating cancellation as a draw outcome), while Palermo and Reggiana win markets resolve NO. Kalshi treats all three outcomes as NO.
Resolution Source Timing: Primary resolution uses official Lega Serie B statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used as a fallback source.
Timing:
Resolution occurs immediately upon official publication of the final match result by Lega Serie B, or within 2 hours after match conclusion using credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
