Description

This market will resolve to "YES" if at least seven teams are eliminated from the Esports World Cup 2026 Open Qualifier without winning any map in the tournament, as shown on HLTV.org. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." For the purposes of this market, “without winning a single map” means each counted team must lose every map it actually plays in the Esports World Cup 2026 Open Qualifier before being eliminated. A team that wins at least one map will not count, even if it is later eliminated from the tournament. Walkovers or forfeits will not count as map wins, but they will not disqualify a team that otherwise loses every map it actually plays and is eliminated. The Esports World Cup 2026 Open Qualifier is currently scheduled for August 7–9, 2026. Primary resolution source: HLTV Esports World Cup 2026 Open Qualifier event page: https://www.hltv.org/events/8762/esports-world-cup-2026-open-qualifier If the Esports World Cup 2026 Open Qualifier is canceled before it starts, this market will resolve to "NO." If the Esports World Cup 2026 Open Qualifier is canceled after it starts, or postponed/rescheduled to a restart date later than August 11, 2026, 23:59 UTC, this market will resolve based on HLTV information available at the time of cancellation, postponement, or rescheduling. If the relevant HLTV match or map statistics for the Esports World Cup 2026 Open Qualifier are not available by August 11, 2026, 23:59 UTC, a consensus of credible reporting will be used.

Frequently asked questions

On Limitless, the current chance for this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds adjust continuously based on real-time trading activity and can diverge from sportsbook odds due to different risk models and participant dynamics. Traders often see sharper or more volatile pricing compared to sportsbooks, especially as new information emerges about team performance and tournament developments. This difference allows participants to capitalize on market inefficiencies between prediction platforms and sports betting venues.

This market resolves around Aug 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final count of teams eliminated without a map win will settle the contract based on official tournament results and verified match statistics.

Key signals that could shift this market include major patch releases, surprise player signings, early elimination of top-seeded teams, and in-game performance metrics from the first matches. Any development that changes perceptions of team resilience or map control is likely to drive rapid price adjustments among traders on Limitless.
