Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Limitless often diverge from traditional sportsbook odds because they reflect real-time crowd sentiment and continuous trading rather than fixed lines set by oddsmakers. Sportsbooks typically adjust odds less frequently and incorporate their own margin. Prediction markets may price underdog qualification scenarios differently based on the volume and conviction of traders betting on specific nations. Comparing Limitless odds to major sportsbooks reveals whether the crowd is more or less bullish on particular underdogs than professional bookmakers, offering insight into where market consensus differs from traditional sports betting.

On Limitless, each underdog nation's qualification odds are priced as binary outcomes reflecting the probability traders assign to that nation reaching the Round of 32. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices move continuously as traders buy and sell shares, with the market price converging toward the implied probability of each outcome. Liquidity and trading volume determine how quickly prices adjust to new information such as qualifying match results, team roster announcements, or draw updates. The platform's order book allows traders to see depth and execute trades at the current best bid and ask prices for each underdog nation outcome.

The market resolves on Jun 29, 2026, after the final group-stage matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup are completed and all Round of 32 qualifiers are officially confirmed. Resolution is determined by which nations advance from their respective groups to the knockout stage. Each outcome corresponds to a specific nation, and the market settles based on the official FIFA records of final group standings and qualification. Traders holding shares in nations that qualify receive the full payout, while those holding shares in nations that are eliminated receive nothing.

Key catalysts include World Cup qualifying match results, which directly impact each nation's path to the tournament and their perceived strength. Friendly matches and official team roster announcements before the tournament signal squad quality and injury status. Draw results for the 2026 World Cup groups will reshape qualification odds by determining which underdogs face stronger or weaker opponents. Betting volume spikes often occur around major qualifying fixtures and the official group draw. Coaching changes, player transfers, and geopolitical developments affecting team participation can also shift market prices as traders reassess underdog qualification probabilities.
