The market resolves at Jun 28, 2026, after the conclusion of the group stage matches involving France and Spain in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Resolution is determined by comparing the total number of shot attempts (on target and off target) recorded by each team across all their group-stage fixtures. The outcome is binary: France either records more attempts than Spain, or Spain records more. Official match statistics from FIFA or the tournament's governing body serve as the authoritative source for shot-attempt counts.

Key catalysts include squad announcements and injury updates for both nations, which directly affect attacking depth and tactical approach. Coaching staff changes or tactical philosophy shifts can alter how aggressively each team pursues shots. Pre-tournament friendlies and qualifying-round performance trends provide early signals about team form and shot volume. Player transfers and club-season form also influence individual contribution to national team attempts. As the group stage draws closer, odds may shift based on draw composition, venue conditions, and head-to-head matchup analysis. Real-time injury news during the tournament itself will be the final major mover before resolution.
