The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA (https://www.fifa.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Key catalysts include African confederation qualifying results, which will confirm which nations compete in the 2026 tournament. Squad announcements and player injuries—particularly for traditional powerhouses like Senegal, Nigeria, or Cameroon—will shift expectations. The official World Cup draw will reveal group compositions and knockout paths, affecting perceived difficulty for African teams. Friendly match results and continental championship performances offer form signals. Coaching changes, transfer market moves, and emerging young talent can alter competitive assessments. As the tournament nears, each match outcome in the group stage will dynamically reprrice the probability of African semi-final representation.
