Description

This market will resolve to "YES" if the listed goal is officially announced as the winner of the 2025/26 Guinness Premier League Goal of the Season award by the Premier League. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." This market will resolve as soon as the official winner of the 2025/26 Guinness Premier League Goal of the Season award is announced by the Premier League. If no official winner of the 2025/26 Guinness Premier League Goal of the Season award is announced by June 30, 2026, 12:00 UTC, this market will resolve to "Other." The primary resolution source for this market is the official Premier League awards page: https://www.premierleague.com/en/awards/seasonal. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Limitless reflect crowdsourced trader conviction rather than sportsbook pricing models. While traditional sportsbooks may offer limited or no betting on specific Goal of the Season outcomes, prediction markets aggregate real-time consensus from thousands of participants trading on the same event. Sportsbooks typically use oddsmakers and margin-based pricing; prediction markets instead show what traders collectively believe the probability is. For this award, the prediction market approach captures granular, dynamic assessment of individual goals as they occur throughout the season, offering a different lens than conventional sports betting venues.

The market resolves on Jun 1, 2026, after the official Guinness Goal of the Season award is announced for the 2025/26 Premier League season. The winning goal is determined by the Premier League and Guinness through their official voting and selection process, which typically involves fan voting, expert panels, and broadcast highlights. Once the award is officially confirmed, the corresponding outcome on Limitless will be settled as correct, and all positions on that goal will be paid out at full value. All other goal outcomes resolve to zero.

Odds will shift significantly whenever spectacular goals are scored during the season, especially strikes from top players, crucial moments, or technically outstanding finishes. Media coverage and social media momentum heavily influence trader perception of a goal's award-worthiness. Goals from high-profile matches, derbies, or title-deciding moments gain visibility and trading volume. Player form and team success can amplify a goal's profile. As the season progresses toward its end, recency bias typically strengthens odds for recent standout strikes. Fan voting announcements, expert commentary, and highlight reels released by the Premier League and Guinness will all trigger repricing as traders reassess which goals have the strongest chance of winning the award.
