Three golfers compete in a 3-ball grouping during the first round of the 2026 RBC Canadian Open, with the winner being the golfer who shoots the best score in that grouping.
Resolution is based on which golfer records the lowest score in the 3-ball matchup during the 1st round of the 2026 RBC Canadian Open. If multiple participants are tied for the lowest score, the Yes payout is $1 divided by the number of tied participants, rounded down to the nearest cent, with the No payout being $1 minus the Yes payout. If a golfer withdraws prior to teeing off, all markets resolve to fair market value.
Prediction market odds on Kalshi often differ from traditional sportsbook odds because they reflect real-time trader positioning rather than fixed lines set by oddsmakers. Sportsbooks adjust for hold and profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the collective belief of participants. For the Fishburn/Nesbitt/Peterson 3-Ball, comparing Kalshi implied probabilities to major sportsbook spreads and moneylines can reveal where sharp traders see value. Discrepancies may signal opportunities or reflect different risk assessments of player performance.
On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Kalshi, the 1st Round 3-Ball: Fishburn/Nesbitt/Peterson market is priced as binary outcome contracts, where each share represents a claim on a specific result. Traders buy and sell shares at prices between 0 and 100 cents, with the price reflecting the implied probability of that outcome occurring. Kalshi's order book matches buyers and sellers in real time, so prices fluctuate based on new information, betting action, and shifts in player form or course conditions leading up to the event.
The market resolves on Jun 11, 2026. Resolution is determined by the official result of the 1st Round 3-Ball competition involving Fishburn, Nesbitt, and Peterson. The specific outcome—such as which player scores lowest, highest, or meets a defined performance threshold—will be confirmed by the event organizer and official scoring records. Traders should monitor official announcements and leaderboards as the event approaches to understand the exact resolution criteria.
Several factors could shift market prices for this matchup. Recent form and scoring trends for Fishburn, Nesbitt, and Peterson will influence trader confidence. Course conditions, weather forecasts, and any equipment or health updates about the players can trigger repricing. Betting action from sharp money or large position changes may also move odds. News about course setup, pin placements, or field strength could alter expectations. Watch for any official announcements or social media signals that might affect perceived advantage among the three competitors.
